Blog Review : Conventional Medicine

Hi Sterling

Blog review: Conventional Medicine  (Adolescents)

In reading the section on conventional medicine in adolescents, I was impressed with the information in the text and videos. The initial picture of the young lady with a physician brings home the significance of the youth having safe and reliable access to medical and psychological care. The text flows very well and follows the required components. The information is easy to understand, and the sources are properly listed. I really liked the first video by the physician and the last one. Both videos relate to the topic at hand and give specific information regarding the subject matter. However, neither of the videos have any notation to tell me if the sources are reliable. I think if you added the video on the website, it is because you found the information credible but as a reader, I always want to know more about the source I am getting the information from. The infographics are on point but hard to read. I would recommend some magnification of the text. I tried to magnify it to read but then it gives me the edit image box and I am afraid to mess anything up. Overall, I love the information and graphics and pictures you have put together. I learnt about depression and anxiety in teen girls and how it differs from boys and pharmacological treatment options.
