Feedback 6: Complementary Medicine

Hi Sterling, Thank you and your group for the information presented on the website page, Complementary Medicine regardingAdolescence. The website page design is consistent with your prior themes.  I love how the design flows, with a simplistic, clean, and inviting flow for the reader. Starting with a strong graphic specific to the topic proved informative and appropriate for the introduction as well as per section. Discussion of premenstrual syndrome (PMS) is thorough and offers information that will be helpful to medical professionals as well as the respective population. I have never heard of Chasteberry and found this information both fascinating and promising.  Understanding the benefits it has for PMS management, as well as becoming aware of the additional antioxidative and anti-inflammatory benefits of Chasteberry.  Both supporting infographics and video media used in this section is relevant to the topic and concise to support the  evidence-based descript...

Feedback Unit 5 - Adolescence and Mental Health

Hi Sterling, Reviewing your group’s Weebly submission on adolescence and conventional medicine, I was struck by how you provided a clear introduction on what to expect in the rest of the section in question. This and the YouTube video on how some medications can make anxiety worse showed great insight into the topic. I feel as an informational website, this provides the public wi...

Blog Review : Conventional Medicine

Hi Sterling Blog review : Conventional Medicine  (Adolescents) In reading the section on conventional medicine in adolescents, I was impressed with the information in the text and videos. The initial picture of the young lady with a physician brings home the significance of the youth having safe and reliable access to medical and psychological care. The text flows very well and follows the required components. The information is easy to understand, and the sources are properly listed. I really liked the first video by the physician and the last one. Both videos relate to the topic at hand and give specific information regarding the subject matter . However, neither of the videos have any notation to tell me if the sources are reliable . I think if you added the video on the website, it is because you   found the in formation credible but as a reader, I always want to know more about the source I am getting the information from. The info graphics are on point but ...
